Shakira, UN Goodwill Ambassador on behalf of UNICEF visited Bangladesh in the aftermath of one of the frequent and deadly cyclones that strikes the Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a frequent victim of floods and cyclones, a low situated country with too dense a population and not enough safe habitat or clean water. While many countries suffer from drought and not enough water, Bangladesh can be swamped by these floods and cyclones, but frequently depriving it of clean water.
